Arne Slot on Mohamed Salah's future at Liverpool

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has said that he 'has no reasons' not wanting Mohamed Salah to stay at the club.
The Egypt international had a phenomenal 2024/25 campaign with the Reds, managing more than 50 goal contributions in all competitions.
However, he has struggled to replicate such form in the current campaign. Salah has managed just eight goal involvements from 19 games.
He has started on the bench in the last three league matches and was left out of the squad completely for the European clash against Inter Milan.
Salah was suspended for the game after his public outburst after the Leeds draw, but Slot insists he does not want to part ways with the elite winger.
He said: "Like I said, another way of asking it, but the next time I talk about Mo should be with him. I have no reasons not wanting him to stay, if that is a little bit of an answer to your question."
The Reds are presently 10th in the standings with 23 points, 10 behind Arsenal, who are currently top of the table after 15 matches.
