Chelsea defender offered to Barcelona after Christensen injury

Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has been offered to Barcelona following a long-term knee injury to Andreas Christensen, according to Sport.

Christensen recently suffered the serious setback, and the Blaugrana are likely to enter the transfer market for a potential replacement this winter.

They have already been linked with multiple names, and Sport claim that Disasi has been offered to the Blaugrana ahead of the New Year.

The Blues ace has been deemed surplus to requirements under manager Enzo Maresca. He has not made a single appearance this campaign.

The likes of Marseille and West Ham United have been mentioned as possible suitors and Barcelona could be another possible destination.

Disasi is determined to move on from the Blues, having missed out on the opportunity to do so last summer due to differences over the salary.

Alongside him, Raheem Sterling has been widely tipped to leave too. Leeds United and Fulham have been credited with an interest in the winger.
