Man City and Ajax consider move for Quilindschy Hartman

Man City and Ajax are both considering a move for Dutch left-back Quilindschy Hartman, who has caught the eye at current club Burnley so far this season, but has surprisingly been dropped by manager Scott Parker. It is understood that Hartman wants to leave in January if he is not guaranteed first-team football.
Manchester City have depth in the position, and emerging starlet Nico O'Reilly has been Pep Guardiola's recent first choice. Rayan Ait-Nouri has yet to impress the City manager and has so far been resigned to the bench on a regular basis this season. Ajax, on the other hand, have money to spend, and want to make Hartman their top January transfer signing, having already brought in ex-Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu on a free transfer.
Burnley are open to selling, and could listen to offers in the region of £25 million for the talented defender. What appears to have caught the eye of City is Hartman's ability to get forward, create assists, and also his ability from set pieces.
