Sunderland eyeing shock move for Man Utd winger

Sunderland are weighing up a surprise move for Manchester United winger Amad Diallo ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

The Black Cats have had an impressive return to the Premier League and could yet finish the season in the top half of the table.

Despite the positive campaign, there will be a huge spending spree in the summer, given that repeating the feat next season will be tough.

The Black Cats previously had Amad Diallo in their ranks in the Championship. He bagged 14 goal contributions on a season-long loan.

Amad was lauded by the club's faithful at that time and Sunderland dream of bringing him back to the Stadium of Light later this summer.

Amad has lost his starting spot with the Red Devils with Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha outperforming him from the wide roles.

With United planning more attacking signings, Amad could be tempted to consider a reunion with the Black Cats during the summer.
