Arsenal very interested in signing Marco Carnesecchi

Arsenal are very interested in signing Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi this summer, according to Tutto Atalanta.

The Gunners are planning multiple signings this summer, and reports claim that the club are eyeing a new shot-stopper.

Tutto Atalanta claim that Carnesecchi has been earmarked as a top target and he could be signed for around £35 million.

Carnesecchi shares the same agent as Riccardo Calafiori which could boost the Gunners' chances of landing his services.

It remains to be seen whether the 25-year-old would be prepared to accept a back-up role behind David Raya next term.

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been the deputy in the ongoing season but it has been claimed that Inter want to land him permanently.

The Nerazzurri are prepared to guarantee him regular playing time which could be a tempting factor for the Spanish star.

Carnesecchi has also been linked with Chelsea in recent weeks and they could provide some competition in the pursuit.
