Arsenal considering move for 23yo English star

Arsenal are weighing up a formal bid for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers as they seek to strengthen their left wing department ahead of next season.

The north London giants are eager to sign a marquee left winger, and they have already been linked with several names, including AC Milan's Rafael Leao.

However, the Gunners have identified Rogers as the prime priority, and they are planning to make a formal approach for the Englishman pretty soon.

Villa are determined to keep the Englishman for at least another 12 months, but are unlikely to turn down an offer of around £100m for his services.

Rogers had a fantastic 2025/26 season with the Villans. He scored 14 goals and provided 12 assists for the West Midlands outfit in all competitions.

The club also won a prestigious Europa League title and qualified for the Champions League, but he could still pursue a bigger challenge elsewhere.

Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with the 23-year-old.
