Chelsea to battle Liverpool for Bradley Barcola

Chelsea could go head-to-head with Liverpool to land Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola this summer.

The Frenchman has been a key player for the European champions, but could move on with his contract expiring in June 2028.

Talks have reached a standstill over a new long-term deal and Les Parisiens are prepared to sell him for a premium transfer fee.

Arsenal have been firm admirers of the former Lyon man, but they are prioritising a move for Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers.

Hence, Chelsea and Liverpool are leading the pursuit. The former see him as a potential upgrade on the left side of their attack.

Liverpool, on the other hand, see him as a right-wing solution. He is being viewed as a marquee signing to replace Mohamed Salah.

PSG are unlikely to let him go on the cheap and it is claimed that it could take at least £70 million to convince them into a sale.

There is also high-profile interest from the Saudi Pro League, but Barcola has no desire to leave European football this soon.
