Chelsea want to sign Crystal Palace star

Chelsea are reportedly keen on landing Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix this summer.

The Blues are expected to offload multiple centre-backs in the coming weeks. The likes of Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi could depart.

This could coincide with a new signing and Daily Mail claim that the Blues are weighing up an approach for the highly-rated Lacroix from Palace.

The 26-year-old has been a key player for the Eagles over the years and recently helped them win the Conference League title against Rayo Vallecano.

Palace will be playing Europa League football next season, but the Frenchman has made the decision to pursue a bigger challenge.

It is now reported that Chelsea are interested in the talented ace and could make a formal approach for the Frenchman in the coming days.

The Blues are not alone in the player's pursuit and could face competition from Arsenal in the race to sign the former Wolfsburg centre-back.
