Spurs enter talks to sign Arsenal midfield target

Tottenham Hotspur have entered negotiations with Newcastle United to sign Arsenal target Sandro Tonali this summer, according to David Ornstein.
The Italian was linked with the Gunners at the start of the year. He was offered to Arsenal by his entourage but a deal did not materialise.
The Premier League champions have been tipped to make an approach this summer, but it appears Spurs have made the first move for him.
The north London side have already agreed personal terms with the former AC Milan man and are now negotiating a fee with the Magpies.
Newcastle are unlikely to let him go on the cheap and they are set to demand at least £100 million to part ways with the 26-year-old midfielder.
Aside from Arsenal, Manchester City have also been linked with the talented ace, but they don't see him as a priority target for now.
The Cityzens are focused on landing Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson and Tonali is only considered as a fallback target for the club.
