Arsenal ready to beat Man Utd to £75m star?

Manchester United are reportedly trailing behind Arsenal in the pursuit of Brentford striker Igor Thiago this summer.

The Red Devils are eyeing a new centre-forward to compete with Benjamin Sesko, and they have earmarked Thiago as a prime target.

The Brazilian had a fantastic season with Brentford, scoring 25 goals and was recently picked in his country's World Cup squad.

United have yet to hold formal talks with his entourage, but reports claim that Arsenal already have an upper hand in the transfer race.

Brentford acknowledge they may struggle to hold on to Thiago this summer. They could sanction his sale for a package of around £75 million.
