Chimbonda to leave Spurs

Pascal Chimbonda has apparently been told he is surplus to requirements at Tottenham next year, and the French international defender is believed to have attracted the interests of some French sides.

Chimbonda is valued by Spurs at around £3 million, and Tottenham are in the market for new defenders this summer.

"I expect Pascal to leave Tottenham this summer," McKay told Sky Sports. "I am speaking to several clubs with the consent of Tottenham and Pascal hopes to get his future sorted soon.

"I believe Tottenham will be looking in the region of £2million from interested clubs."
