Arsenal planning two signings before transfer deadline

Arsenal would ideally like to sign two more players before the transfer window formally closes next month.

The Gunners started their campaign with a stunning 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield at the weekend.

Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis made their debuts after their summer arrival, and the latter was brilliant with two assists.

Arsenal are not done yet in the transfer market and would like to land a versatile centre-back who can also play at right-back.

With William Saliba and Jurrien Timber on the sidelines, the Gunners are exploring the transfer market for a suitable candidate.

Meanwhile, a marquee forward remains a priority for the north London giants despite the success of Tzolis in recent weeks.

Tzolis has made a goal contribution in every start for the club since pre-season, but the Gunners still want to add more quality.

The ideal preference would be another left winger to compete with Tzolis or a centre-forward. Viktor Gyokeres could leave if a new striker arrives.
