Confirmed Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1) vs Brighton, Martinez makes debut

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has named the starting line-up for the Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues secured a sublime 3-2 win over Fulham in the season opener and will aim to continue the momentum with another victory today.

Ahead of the game, Alonso has made some big decisions. One of those involves goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who makes his club debut after his switch from Aston Villa.

Robert Sanchez has been Chelsea's regular goalkeeper in the Premier League, but he is expected to be sold before the transfer window closes.

In front of Martinez, Alonso has picked a back three of Wesley Fofana, Maxence Lacroix and Levi Colwill.

Pedro Neto and Jorrel Hato are the wing-backs, while Malo Gusto will partner Romeo Lavia in midfield.

In the final third, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers continue as the attacking midfielders with Joao Pedro upfront.
