Tottenham ready to sign Chelsea defender permanently

Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to sign Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a permanent basis if they can recruit Blues winger Mykhailo Mudryk on loan.
The north London giants are exploring a double deal for Adarabioyo and Mudryk from the Blues. They were initially considering a loan for the former, but have since added the latter to their wishlist.
Manager Roberto De Zerbi managed Mudryk during his time at Shakhtar Donetsk, and it is claimed that the Italian is keen on a reunion with the Ukraine international this summer.
Spurs obviously can't loan two Chelsea players due to Premier League rules, and they are ready to land Adarabioyo permanently if Mudryk is permitted to join them on loan.
Adarabioyo has already agreed terms over a long-term deal with Spurs, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can secure both players from Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Spurs are also expected to offload more players. Richarlison and Kevin Danso could leave permanently before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
