Arsenal right-back set for first start of the season

Arsenal right-back Jurrien Timber looks set to make his first start of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow.

The Dutchman has been nursing a groin problem for a while and he recently made his first appearance of the season off the bench at Sunderland.

Timber was subsequently rested against Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup as a precaution, but he is expected to return against Brighton tomorrow.

The Netherlands ace was spotted in today's training session, unlike Ben White, who was forced to pull out of the England squad due to injury, as per Three Lions manager Thomas Tuchel.

Hence, it is pretty much certain that White won't be involved against the Seagulls on the road, which should only mean that Timber will be in the starting XI from the off tomorrow.

Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice can play as makeshift right-backs and could be options for the manager if required during the second half.
