John Terry makes Premier League prediction on Chelsea

Chelsea legend John Terry has predicted where the Blues could finish in the Premier League this campaign.

The Blues had a positive start to the league season with back-to-back wins, but have since gone off the boil.

They were beaten 2-1 by Arsenal, and this has been followed by a draw and defeat to Hull City and Brentford.

As a result, the Blues are languishing 10th in the standings after five matches played and Terry says they are not in the title race.

Speaking to Theo Walcott on TikTok, the former Blues captain said that the west London outfit are a couple of years away from competing for the league, but remains hopeful about a top-four finish.

He said: "I am still hopeful of top four, I still think we’re a couple of years away from competing for the Premier League."

Chelsea host Bournemouth in their next league game on October 10. The last three meetings between them have ended in draws.
