Arsenal handed double injury boost for Liverpool game

Rice & Madueke poised to face Liverpool

Arsenal have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Liverpool on the road on Sunday.

The Gunners recently suffered a shock League Cup fourth round exit at the hands of Fleetwood Town. They were beaten on penalties after a 1-1 score in normal time.

In the same game, Noni Madueke and Declan Rice were absent due to niggles, but they are expected to be fit for the Premier League clash against the Reds.

The news is a huge boost for the Gunners, particularly on the right wing. Madueke's availability is a plus with Bukayo Saka injured and Max Dowman suspended.

While the pair are expected to be available, left-back Riccardo Calafiori looks a confirmed absentee after suffering a knock against Everton in the Premier League.

Calafiori was nowhere to be seen in Monday's training sessions and he appears a big doubt for the Reds game too, having missed the midweek trip to Highbury Stadium.
