Everton bid for Semshov
Everton boss David Moyes has made an offer for Igor Semshov, according to newspaper reports on Friday evening. The Russian international midfielder, aged 30, had an impressive Euro 2008 tournament and several other sides are interested.
Some of the clubs also willing to take the plunge and move for the Russian include Roma, Feyenoord, Inter Milan, Villarreal and Atletico Madrid.
Since the arrival of Guus Hiddink as boss of Russia, Semshov has continuously showed he is a very able player. He now has over 27 caps for Russia to his name.
It is understood that Semshov is currently in contract discussions with his club, Dinamo Moscow, but has yet to agree terms and a move elsewhere is looking likely.
