David Beckham has completed his three month loan move to Italian Serie A giants AC Milan. Beckham will move to Italy on the 7th of January and leaves MLS side LA Galaxy as he prepares for their end of season break.

Umberto Gandiani, sporting director of AC Milan, confirmed the move but insisted the deal was only temporary: "He is committed to Los Angeles Galaxy and the MLS and he thanks them for the opportunity to train with us."

"Only David knows his future, but he has a commitment to LA Galaxy and I think he will respect that."

Beckham will arrive in Italy battling to keep his international aspirations under Fabio Capello for England alive.

Adriano Galliani, Milan's vice president also confirmed the move: “Beckham has finally become reality, and is no longer a dream.

"Beckham has a contract with the Galaxy, and they have no intentions of releasing him, and even so, he has many sponsorship deals that he must attend to back in America."
