Man City in for Diego Capel?

Manchester City have emerged as candidates for the coveted signature of Sevilla CF winger Diego Capel this January transfer window. Arsenal and Tottenham also both remain interested.

According to Spanish press sources, Capel is keen to try his luck in the Premiership.

Mark Hughes has apparently had scouts check up on Capel in his past few games with Sevilla, and is very impressed with the young Spaniard's performances.

Capel is valued by his club in excess of £7 million. Tottenham were close to sealing a move for the player just prior to the transfer deadline this summer but missed out at the last minute.
