Milan won't buy in January

AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out signing any new players in the January transfer window. David Beckham will arrive on loan from LA Galaxy, and the Italian coach has ruled out any other arrivals.

''The transfer market? I exclude any participation 100 percent!," said Ancelotti.

It was understood that Milan could well be in the market for another striker and were linked with Mauro Zarate.

William Gallas has also been linked with a move to Italy from Arsenal after falling out of favour at the Emirates.
