Portsmouth chasing Vieira?

Portsmouth are apparently set to make a move for Patrick Vieira. The Inter Milan midfielder has an excellent relationship with Pompey boss Tony Adams, and is apparently ready to make a return to the Premiership.

Vieira is valued by his current club, Inter Milan, in the region of 8 million GBP.

Since leaving Arsenal, Vieira has continued to show those resounding performances that made him one of the greatest holding midfielders in Premiership history.

An emotional return to England could now be on the cards, and Jose Mourinho could be willing to allow the Frenchman to leave the club if the right offer is made.
