West Ham chase Barnetta

West Ham are ready to spend some of the 14 million GBP Man City spent on Craig Bellamy, and their first target appears to be Switzerland's international forward Tranquillo Barnetta.

The player is currently at Bayer Leverkusen, but is keen to make a move to the Premiership.

West Ham are apparently ready to offer around 6 million GBP for the Swiss international, who is also being chased by Everton and Portsmouth.
