Blackburn eye Gomis

Blackburn are ready to make a shock move for Bafetimbi Gomis. If Roque Santa Cruz leaves for Man City, Sam Allardyce has made the Frenchman his number 1 target.

Gomis has been linked with a series of Premiership clubs, including Newcastle and Tottenham, but if Roque Santa Cruz leaves Blackburn as expected, Blackburn will require a replacement.

Gomis is admired by Sam Allardyce, who reportedly chased the forward whilst he was the Newcastle coach.

Currently at St Etienne, the Frenchman will command a fee in the region of 10 million GBP.
