Andrei Arshavin's 15m move to Arsenal have completed and the player signed a 70,000-per-week contract for three years. The transfer story had many twists and tales and had been tough for Arsenal and the player, finally the speculations are over. It is a done deal.

The Russian playmaker has finally signed for Arsenal last night, completing the deal in the nick of time, right before the transfer window shut down.

Arshavin has signed for three years with the Gunners on a 70,000-per-week wage, the official confirmation on the wages are yet to arrive. The financial details will be disclosed today.

The issue with Arshavin's loyalty bonus payment was resolved by the timely act of Arsenal officials. The negotiations went on until the final minutes of transfer deadline and, finally, Zenit agreed to sell the player for 12m plus the add-on payments making it 15m.

Arshavin has already left his club even before a transfer fee was agreed, he hired a private to jet to fly him from Russia to England. Although no decision was made then, it was a good choice made by the Russian player counting the heavy snowfall that shut off the London airport.

The Gunner's fans are delighted to have Arshavin in their team, and many see him as an instant saviour.

It is believed that the Premier League will allow the player to be registered as an Arsenal player despite the signing being sealed post-deadline.
