Freddie Sears to Crystal Palace

West Ham look set to allow hot prospect Freddie Sears make a move on loan to Crystal Palace for the 2009/2010 season as they hope the youngster has more first-team experience in the Championship.

Sears has made some appearances in the Premiership last year, and impressed when called upon.

However, Gianfranco Zola has decided that the player would be better off with regular first-team football, and has allowed him to leave on loan for the season.
