Maicon hints at Inter departure

Brazilian full back Maicon has put Chelsea on red-alert after admitting that he was unlikely to stay at Inter if they could not match the ambition of the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid in the transfer market, and push for Champions League glory.

Maicon said: "Inter have to think big.

"I want to win the Champions League because the Champions League is an important trophy for a player's career.

"If I can win it with Inter, fine. Otherwise it'll be necessary to consider going elsewhere to try to win it."
