Tevez heading for Man City
The race for Carlos Tevez is well and truly on as Man Utd today confirmed that the player would not be staying with the club. It is understood that a fee of £25 million had been agreed by United, but the player's personal terms were too expensive.
Now Man City boss Mark Hughes is set to snap up Carlos Tevez in a £25 million deal and form a dream attacking partnership with Tevez and Robinho.
It is understood that City will meet the Argentinian's lofty wage demands of £125,000 per week to join the club.
Tevez had previously ruled out a move to Liverpool, and now a move to City seems likely.
