West Ham still chasing Nuno Gomes

Benfica striker Nuno Gomes is still on Gianfranco Zola's shortlist. It is believed that the former Portuguese international is also being chased by Livorno and NAC Breda.

West Ham will be able to sign Nuno Gomes on free, as the player has been such a servant to his club.

If rumours are to be believed, West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola would like to bring in one more forward in January.

If Carlton Cole leaves the club, Nuno Gomes' transfer would appear much more likely.
