Craig Gordon to Arsenal?

There have been reports this morning that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has decided enough is enough with the goalkeeping crisis at the Emirates, and the Frenchman has reportedly lodged a formal offer for Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

The Scotland international has been in excellent form at the back end of the Premiership season this year, and many clubs have expressed an interest in the shot stopper.

Valued by his club in the region of 6 million GBP, the Gunners are unlikely to be put off by this price tag.

If Wenger moves for the Scot, he reportedly will allow Manuel Almunia leave the club. It is understood that Valencia are ready to make an offer for the Spaniard.
