West Ham look set to miss out on Diego Tardelli - also linked with a move to Liverpool - as the Atletico Mineiro striker looks set to put pen to paper on a 6 million GBP transfer move to Porto this summer.

The 25 year old has been in impeccable form for his homeland club this year, and has seen his stock rise considerably.

However, the player was unable to nudge his way into Dunga's 23 man World Cup squad; despite making the initial 30 man squad.

It is understood that - if all goes to plan - Porto will win the race for his signature.
