Baptista won't join Tottenham

Brazilian striker Julio Baptista will not join Tottenham, according to the players agent. There are a number of clubs interested in the player, but Tottenham are not one of them.

The Roma man will leave in January if possible.

Baptista's agent said: "There are a number of European clubs, but Tottenham is not one of them.

"The future of the player depends on Roma and we will decide what is the best option for his career."
