Chelsea to kick start Hiddink talks

Chelsea will reportedly begin negotiations on Monday with the representatives of Guus Hiddink. The current Turkey international coach remains loyal to his current employer, but Roman Abramovich has told sources at Chelsea that the only front runner for the job is the Dutchman. Mark Hughes had also been linked with the vacant Chelsea job.

Hiddink has previously had only 6 months at the helm at Chelsea, successfully guiding the club to FA Cup success.

It is now understood that Abramovich will offer Hiddink a massive 7m GBP per year contract to take charge at Stamford Bridge.

The agent of Hiddink hinted that talks were already partially underway; but his concern was that Turkey would like to retain their boss: "The contract is with the Turkish Football Federation and not the individual president."

However, it is understood that Abramovich will personally fly Hiddink to spend time with him on vacation this summer in order to persuade him to rejoin Chelsea.
