Tottenham may sell 5 players

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he will have to sell before he can buy this summer. It is understood that Wilson Palacios is set to leave the club to allow a move for Scott Parker to take place.

Spurs have already let Jonathan Woodgate leave this summer, whilst it is also expected that Roman Pavlyuchenko is also set to leave.

Redknapp admitted: “There is nothing happening in the transfer market.

“I need to sell four or five players to bring in funds.

“The chairman has made it clear we need to move a few players before we can start doing any business.

“I keep seeing us linked with this player and that, but unless we reduce our squad numbers we will stay quiet in the market.”
