Liverpool boss has £30m to spend

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish returns from his vacation today and back to work. According to a report, the boss has been given a further £30 million to spend on new players this summer.

Liverpool have already splashed £20 million signing Jordan Henderson from Sunderland, but the Reds still have a huge chunk left of the war chest to spend on new players this summer.

Stewart Downing has been linked with a £18 million move from Aston Villa, whilst only yesterday Diego was named as a target after falling out of favour with German club Wolfsburg.

Meanwhile, the hunt for Charlie Hunt seems to be coming to a close after a fee in the region of £10 million was agreed with Blackpool. A move for Adam is set to to be completed next week.
