Ji Dong-won joins Sunderland

Ji Dong-won has completed his move to Sunderland yesterday, arriving from Chunnam Dragons. The player joins for an estimated 2.5m GBP.

Ji Dong-won is hoping to gradually work his way into the first team, a hint that Steve Bruce may be thinking longer term than short term.

“I am so satisfied to be able to come to a good club, a nice club in the world's number one league,” he told the club’s official website.

“I am happy because I have a chance to challenge the biggest players, and that gives me motivation.”
