Hojlund to join Napoli on loan
Man Utd striker Rasmus Hojlund has flown to Italy this evening and will put pen to paper on a loan deal with Napoli until the end of the 2025/26 season. The Denmark international striker has been frozen out of the United plans for the current campaign, and the arrivals of Bryan Mbuemo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko leave Hojlund with no option but to seek regular minutes elsewhere.
Arnaud Kalimuendo wanted by Newcastle and Brentford
Rennes forward Arnaud Kalimuendo is being monitored by Sunderland and Newcastle both, as the 23-year-old appears to be set for a transfer to the Premier League. With 34 Ligue 1 goals in 93 games for Rennes, the highly rated striker could move to Newcastle as a replacement for Alexander Isak, whilst Brentford are seeking a new forward with uncertainty surrounding the future of Yoane Wissa.

Brentford have been in contact with Bournemouth with regard to the availability of Burkina Faso forward Dango Ouattara, as the 23-year-old player could be allowed to depart the Cherries for a fresh challenge. Man Utd have won the race to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko in a deal worth £74 million, as the 22-year-old favours a move to Manchester despite interest from Newcastle United. The player had scored 39 goals in 87 games for RB.
