West Ham United to sign Emile Heskey?
West Ham United are preparing a shock move for former Premier League star Emile Heskey, according to Football Direct News.
Heskey, who currently plys his trade for Newcastle Jets in the A-League is considered as a potential back-up, should star striker Andy Caroll get injured during the course of the next campaign.
A source close to the Hammers revealed that manager Sam Allardyce could move for the former Liverpool man, as he fits in the club's style of play.
Heskey has previously played for Aston Villa, Liverpool, Leicester City, and Wigan Athletic in England's top flight.
