Liverpool midfielder seeking January exit
Brazilian international Lucas Leiva has revealed that he is in the search for a new club having fallen out of favour at Liverpool.
The 27-year-old has made just two starts for the Reds this season, and this has raised doubts over his future at the Merseyside giants.
A move to Napoli broke down during the summer, but Leiva's uncertainty at Anfield could tempt manager Rafael Benitez into having a reunion with his former player.
"I'm not speaking to anyone at the moment because I'm under contract, but I am looking around, given I am not playing," Lucas said.
Lucas joined Liverpool from Brazilian side Gremio in the summer of 2007.
