Arsenal to sign Spartak Moscow midfielder?
Arsenal are looking at the possibility of securing the services of Spartak Moscow midfielder Romulo in January, with striker Yaya Sanogo likely to be move the other way on loan.
The 24-year-old joined the Russian giants from Brazilian outfit Vasco da Gama in the summer of 2012, and has since then made just 18 appearances due to a long-term injury lay-off.
A report from The Express claims that the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is keen on signing a holding midfielder in the upcoming transfer window, and considers the Brazilian as the perfect fit for his tactical setup.
The report adds that the Gunners could offer a fee in the region of £9.5m plus Sanogo on a temporary basis in order to secure the services of Romulo in January.
Romulo has been capped 8 times by the Brazilian national side.
