Liverpool consider Fernando Torres loan deal
Liverpool are seriously considering making an offer to sign former striker Fernando Torres on loan in the upcoming transfer window.
The Spain international made his name as a top-class striker at Liverpool, before he made a £50m British-record switch to Chelsea in January 2011.
However, he failed to cement his place in the first-team, and was shipped out on a two-year loan to AC Milan over the summer.
Recent reports have revealed that the former Reds striker's loan deal could be terminated in the New Year, with Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi unhappy with the player's showing upto now.
According to The Mail, Liverpool could make a temporary move for the talented striker, should he return to Stamford Bridge in the turn of the year.
The report adds that the Reds would consider the transfer only if they manage to send striker Mario Balotelli to Napoli on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Liverpool are currently 11th in the Premier League.
