Chelsea to wrap up John Stones deal?
Chelsea are expected to put more pressure on Everton by making a second bid for defender John Stones.
The England international has asked manager Roberto Martinez to let him move to Stamford Bridge this summer, but the club's hierarchy are in no mood to listen to his demands.
The Telegraph now cites that Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen on having the 21-year-old at the club before this weekend's Community Shield encounter against Arsenal at the Wembley.
It is added that an improved bid of around £26m will be lodged for the talented central defender by Tuesday.
Stones joined Everton from Barnsley for just £3m in 2013.
