Benfica keen on Soldado loan deal
Primeira Liga giants Benfica are looking at the possibility of sign Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado on a season-long loan.
The Spain international is expected to make way from White Hart Lane this summer, having struggled to settle at the club since his move from Valencia in 2013.
Portuguese source O Jogo claims that Benfica are eager to secure the player's services on a temporary basis, but face competitions from the likes of Sevilla and Villareal.
Soldado scores just five goals in 40 games for Spurs last term.
