Chelsea lodge Kalidou Koulibaly bid
Chelsea are reported to have made a fresh bid for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. The Senegal international was impressive for the Serie A outfit last season.
Koulibaly, 25, has highlighted his desire to find a fresh challenge, should he fail to earn a new contract at Naples.
The Blues had failed with an initial £25m bid for Koulibaly last month, but this hasn't dented their pursuit for the player.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Antonio Conte's side have stepped up their chase for the defender with renewed £38m offer.
Everton are also interested in the central defender, who is currently valued in the £45m range.
Koulibaly has appeared in 81 games for Napoli since his move from Genk in 2014. He has also earned six caps with his national side.
