Emery wants Bacca reunion at PSG

French champions Paris Saint Germain are considering a move to sign in demand AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, according to reports in France.

It is believed that PSG are keen to bring in the 29-year-old Colombian striker to help replace the departed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has been the Parisian's top scorer for the previous four season.

New PSG manager Unai Emery worked with Bacca at Sevilla, and the French club believe that the strong relationship between the former Club Brugge striker and the Spanish tactician gives them the upper hand in their attempts to win the race for Bacca;s signature.

They will have to fend off interest from both FC Barcelona and West Ham United though.

Barcelona are believed to have turned their attention to pursuing Bacca after appearing to have missed out on previous targets Luciano Vietto and Kevin Gameiro.

Vietto has agreed to join Sevilla on loan from Atletico Madrid, with the Andalusian club having an option to buy the 22-year-old for €22 million, While 29-year-old Frenchman Gameiro is reportedly on the verge of moving in the other direction, with Atléti thought to be willing to meet the €40 million buyout clause in the striker's Sevilla contract.

West Ham have also attempted to sign Bacca last summer as they continue to search for a top quality striker.

Bacca only joined Milan from Sevilla a year ago in a deal thought to be worth around €30 million, and the Serie A club are likely to want a similar fee if they are to part ways with their top scorer from last season.
