Tottenham identify Vincent Janssen replacement?

Gray to be pursued by Spurs this summer

Tottenham Hotspur are said to have earmarked Burnley's Andre Gray as a potential replacement for Vincent Janssen at the end of the campaign.

Janssen has largely struggled in his debut season in England, and it is understood that Spurs could offload him with a loss during the summer transfer window.

The search for a new striker is expected to continue this summer, and according to The Express, Gray is the latest to have propped up the Spurs shortlist.

Gray, who had his initial development in non-league football, has impressed in the top flight this season with eight goals in 21 outings for the Clarets.

With just 15 months left on his existing contract, Spurs are seemingly confident of luring the marksman as they seek to add a capable companion to the free-scoring Harry Kane upfront next season.

Gray is currently an outside candidate to make it to Gareth Southgate's squad for the internationals against Germany and Lithuania later in the month.
