Leicester City and Everton chasing Dango Ouattara
Burkino Faso striker Dango Ouattara is a target for Everton and Leicester City, and Bournemouth have reportedly pulled out of the race. The Premier League trio had been in negotiations with Lorient of Ligue 1 to sign the 20-year-old forward, and Everton and Leicester City are still the race after indicating that they would be willing to pay more than 20 million euros for the Burkinabe international.
The player, 20-years-old, is comfortable playing as a left winger or on the right winger, or as a lone striker. However, his preferred position is on the right midfield. The player spent time in his home country for SC Majestic, before making a transfer to Ligue 1 with Lorient in 2021. An impressive first season has caught the eye of the Premier League trio, and a deal could be agreed this month.
Crystal Palace had also been rumoured to have joined the race to sign Ouattara, but it is understood Patrick Vieira has turned his club's attentions to signing a different player entirely. With just two weeks of the transfer window remaining, a deal is likely to be agreed soon.
