Arsenal duo to be assessed ahead of Bayern clash
Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard will be assessed ahead of the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final versus Bayern Munich.
The Gunners played out a 2-2 draw against the Bavarian giants at the Emirates Stadium last week, but they should have won the game.
The north London giants dominated the proceedings early in the first half and were guilty of squandering chances before Bayern capitalised.
In the end, Leandro Trossard got them level at 2-2, but they should have had a penalty after Bukayo Saka was fouled by Manuel Neuer in stoppage time.
Speaking ahead of the second leg, Arteta has said that Odegaard and Saka will need to be assessed after picking up knocks against Aston Villa.
Both players were back in first-team training earlier today, but the Gunners boss remains tight-lipped on their availability for tomorrow's game.
He said: "We will assess them tomorrow and see how they are."
Arsenal have never made the last four of the Champions League since 2009 and it would be a huge achievement if they manage to do so again.
