Arsenal boss confirms Bendtner departure

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that Nicklas Bendtner is close to sealing a move away from the Emirates Stadium, with a move to Germany his preferred destination.

Wenger said of Bendtner: "We are looking for one more striker because we know he will leave.



"We will be short this season because we also have Marouane Chamakh leaving for the African Cup of Nations."



Arsenal have put Bendtner on the market for a reduced 5m GBP.
