Arsenal let Joel Campbell leave on loan

Arsenal have agreed to loan Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell to Lorient for the season. The forward will spend the year in France.

Campbell was unable to secure a 'special talent' work permit that is required for young talents outside of the European Union to play in the Premier League; so therefore will be shipped out on loan around Europe until he plays for Costa Rica enough times to secure a work permit in England.
